God Of War III - PS3 is a video game of God of War series Their development was formally announced at E3 2008.. The game was released on March 16, 2010 exclusively for PlayStation 3.2 God of War 3 is the sixth and final chapter in the series chronologically, after God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, God of War: Betrayal and God of War II. The game's slogan is "In the end, there will be only chaos" (in Portuguese, "In the end, there will be only chaos").

God of War III features gameplay similar to previous versions. The player controls Kratos in a combination of combat, platforming and puzzle elements. The main weapons of Kratos are the Blades of Exile (except in the short time earlier when Kratos uses the Blades of Athena). New weapons include Claw of Hades (Claws of Hades), the Nemesis Whip (Nemesis Whip) and the Nemean Cestus (Cestus of Nemea). The latter weapon has the ability to smash walls and shields made of Onyx, but has a considerably shorter range than the Blades of Exile. The Claws of Hades and Nemesis Whip are similar to the Blades of Exile, both being used in the same way it, but with their own combos and magical abilities.

God of War 3 is an action game in the third person of the famous Sony series that brings the dreaded Kratos as the protagonist. Developers had already commented on the title, saying that this should make use of the features of Sixaxis and DualShock 3 will support - in addition to integrating a possible cooperative mode - when SCEA made the official announcement of the game.
The title takes place chronologically after all other games of the series, continuing the events of God of War 2. According to the developers, the game should explain once and for all why the Greek myths are no more.
