VIDEAU GAMES NEWS BYTE: ULTIMATE "KRYAT" EDITION ANNOUNCED FOR FAR CRY 4

Hurk, the loveable man-child, monkey-explosive combining expert, is slated to be your co-op companion and single player compatriot in the upcoming Farcry 4. Well that all is if you decide to spring for the Ultimate "Kyrat" edition of the game. This will come with quite a few other special features.
Aside from strapping simians to dynamite, Hurk, in the new installment of FarCry 4, will go temple robbing, elephant riding, and play the damsel in distress in the bonus content/DLC of "Hurk's Redemption."
This bonus content seems specifically aimed at previous fans of the series, considering that this character (if memory and the internet serve me well) was only in the Deluxe edition of Farcry 3 released way, way back in the day ... of December 2012.
Although you do get more than just 3 new missions, you get a harpoon! (for those pesky Nepal whales, of course) and a bunch of knickknacks and further DLC.
  • A 20 cm figurine of the game's villain Pagan Min seated on an elephant throne
  • A travel journal to record your own adventures
  • A Pagan Min Propaganda Poster
  • The game Map
  • The Far Cry 4 Season Pass
  • The exclusive future pack™ Metal Box
  • An exclusive collector case
People may be dismissive of special editions but I think that they're a nice feature of games to have. Especially the inclusion of a journal, man I can't get enough of that sort of thing, it's like a nice little jump between game-world and real-world interaction. Plus you can never have enough journals.
The Season Pass is also pretty good for whatever Ubisoft produce especially if you keep in mind Blood Dragon. Having a Season Pass certainly makes it easier to slip into that great zaniness that all post-game expansions have.
Far Cry 4 is released on the 18th of November 2014.
