In the third quarter, the company sold a total of 665,600 computers - between mobile devices or desktop - and tablets. This number refers to brands Positive and Positivo BGH - brand with which it operates in Argentina.
According to the company, this period was considered an "increase of consumer demand for hardware devices after a slow first half due to the World Cup, which shifted the focus of networks for the sale of TVs." For this end of year, Positivo still expects progress on the shelves - and this is also expected for the company's smartphones.
It is also worth mentioning the distribution of more than 660,000 computers sold in the quarter. Were 416,900 devices distributed in retail, 183,800 taken to various government areas and 64 900 delivered to the corporate market. These results led to positive not only the leadership, but also a good relationship with investors.
During the quarter, gross revenue was R $ 595.3 million in 3T14, while net income was R $ 534.3 million - generating a net income of R $ 13.5 million. Remember that in the same period in 2013, Positivo Informática recorded a loss of R $ 18.9 million.
